Shawn "uniKorn" Higley aka Shiggy. Age: 29 

Founder of SHIGGY RC a crawler club based out in West Valley City, UT. 

I've been into rc since 2018, finally got into micro Crawlers when I saw a dude at my local hobby shop Canyon Hobbies back in 2021. Since then the addiction started of constantly building micro Crawlers, one after the other. Eventually started my own club SHIGGYRC early 2024. The FB group has grown to over 3k members in a year and is still growing. We meet up weekly to crawl at our local park and occasionally run events. We give back to the  community with frequent giveaways, and helping those who want to learn.

I go out of my way to help those wanting to start their own rc clubs, businesses and products to get established in the RC world by promoting them on facebook and IG, simply just because i want people to succeed. I am still learning when it comes to building ability, but I love to share my building secrets. I hope to inspire those to better themselves and help those in need in the hobby.

 

 

Ruben aka Rc Reloaded age 38.

 Father, husband, little league coach and been into Rc since I was a kid. 4 years ago I bought 2 Redcat crawlers one for my son and I. They sat mostly then one day about just over yr ago bored at work I saw a micro crawler and immediately bought one and Rc Reloaded was born. That’s where my Rc journey was born. I now have my own following at about 1000 Rc brothers and sisters across all social media platforms. I love to get out and meet other rc enthusiasts which lead me to start a  New Jersey based group called NJRC that has grown more than I thought it would. This has shown me that we are out there. This lead me to join other groups like Shiggy Rc and Micro Crawlers. These groups really opened me up to a whole new light in rc. I now help others and share my knowledge. Huge Thank You to the RNDRC team for continuing to support me and choosing me as a Team Driver. #teamRndrc 

 

Trey McDonald 

I’m 22 years old

I’m originally from Germantown, Ohio I’ve been active duty in the military for the past 4 years and stationed in San Diego California. I’ve been in the rc scene since I was 8. My dad got me a Losi mini eight for my birthday and I was hooked ever since. Started racing buggy’s and then slowly we got into the 10th scale crawlers. Been out of the game a few years since I joined the military. I was at a buddy’s house he showed me his mini crawler and the next day I bought one. I started doing builds and getting more serious about it. Ran into addikted rc out of Escondido,California and started doing weekly comps every weekend. Met Kelvin through one of the trx4m facebook groups. I waited for the v3 chassis to come out then jumped on it. Love meeting new people and sharing my different builds. The rc community is awesome and I can’t wait to be apart of the Rndrc team. #teamRndrc

 

Cameron broe

Age 24 

My name is cameron broe, I’m 24 years old from San Diego California. 

I’ve been into rc’s as long as I can remember, from crawlers, buggies, short course trucks, to boats, to planes. 

I have always had a love for rc’s in any shape or form. 

I hadn’t had a rc crawler in quite some time, until about a year and a half ago my close buddy, showed me his trx4m Bronco, I instantly fell in love with the platform. Maybe a month or two later I bought my first micro crawler, and they’ve multiplied from there! 

I heard about RNDRC from my buddy Trey who is also a team driver and I went and bought a chassis right away. 

I try to involve myself into the community as much as I can by giving advice to others in the facebook groups, and on Instagram as much as I can, 

I’ve also started a facebook group of my own for people in San Diego with mini crawlers, it’s still small but we’re up to almost 100 members and still growing I’m still learning new things everyday and trying to become more knowledgeable with these micro crawlers! I’m super excited and thankful to be a part of the RNDRC family

Jeffrey Young
Age: 41

Proud husband and father to 4 wonderful kids. I’ve been into RCs since I was a kid. I started with a Tyco Bandit way back in the day. I stopped messing with RCs once I got to college and started a family. I have, however, been into Jeeps and off-roading for many years. I am the President of the Glass City Crawlers in Toledo, OH and my family loves off-roading and outdoor adventures. A few years back when Axial released the SCX24, it once again peaked my interest in RCs. I jumped back in full send. I now have 1/7 scale up to 1/24 scale crawlers, bashers and a drag truck. I started custom building 1/24 crawlers and became very addicted. I joined many Facebook groups including Micro Crawler Club and Shiggy RC. While on those pages I came across RNDRC. I was immediately impressed by what I saw and knew I had to build one. My first chassis was a CF V3 which I have named the MURDR60. It’s an all blacked out IR60 build that I absolutely love. I saw a post from Kelvin looking for more team drivers and I knew I had to apply. I became very passionate about this chassis and very invested which must have caught the right people’s attention because I am now a team driver! I love helping others figure out their build process and answering questions as best as I can. I look forward to being on this team and seeing what we come up with next! Crawl on!

Ive been involved with RC for as long as i can remember, but in recent years I’ve taken my passion to the next level — diving deep into the art of building and competing with high-performance micro crawlers. Specializing in 1/24 scale competition and scale rigs, I try constantly pushing the limits of tuning, precision driving, and creative fabrication.

Now expanding into the 1/18 scale scene, I’m hoping to bring the same dedication, mechanical know-how, competitive edge, and creativity that has defined my builds. Whether on the workbench or the competition course.
